The patent-pending Vertical Air Bath Excalibur knife kiln (heat treat oven/furnace) is a custom Vertical Air Bath that can heat treat shorter blades and swords. The removable Excalibur section, when clamped in, extends the oven’s height to 50 inches.
This kiln requires a workspace with tall ceilings, a tall vertical quench tank, and a platform for the bladesmith to stand on to retrieve and transfer blades to their quench medium of choice.
Platform and quench tank not included.
The configurable baffle design and large chamber accommodate blades of all shapes and sizes, making the Vertical Air Bath an ideal choice for diverse heat-treating needs.
